Technique.
Hand-written batik with traditional hand waxed process.
Color:
Indigo: natural hand dyed in Indigo Tintoria.
Black: natural hand dyed in Indigo Tintoria and Jalawe (Terminalia Bellirica)
Handmade in Indonesia.
All the handmade process comes with small imperfections. Differences in shape, size and colour can happen and are part of the charm of a handmade product. This part of the handmade process is what makes our products unique and should not be seen as a fault. They will never affect the overall aesthetic of the product and its ability for use as intended.
Care Instructions.
Hand wash or machine wash cold with gentle cycle
Wash separately or with similar colors
Use natural soap or a mild detergent
Avoid fabric softeners
Do not bleach
Do not tumble dry
Dry in shade avoid direct sunlight
Do not dry clean
Cool iron on reverse
Important considerations.
Expect fading: Natural dyes are known to fade and change color over time. This is a normal and expected part of their character.
Be careful with acids: Acids, like lemon juice, can alter the color of the dye. Avoid using them on or near the garment.
